Sometimes a wedding just has that vibe—the kind of day where it all looks and feels effortless, filled with joy, and all about what really matters...the couple! Christof & Danny’s wedding at Oulton Hall was exactly that. Elegant, stylish, and heartfelt, with so many moments that reminded us why we love what we do.
The Morning
The day started with Christof and Danny getting ready in rooms directly opposite each other. They were so close and yet resisted the temptation to pop next door instead saving their first look at eachother for the aisle. Both Grooms opted for the most gorgeous bespoke suits by Michelsberg Tailoring in similar shades of green velvet and Danny went that little bit extra with his shoe choice (spy those red soles in the gallery at the end!)
The morning was packed with emotion. Both gave each other sentimental gifts, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room (ours included!). Bonus points go to Christof who had a joke gift that had Danny laughing first before the second gift had him in happy tears. From just the morning you could already see how much love these two have for eachother.
The Ceremony
Christof and Danny had already taken care of the legal bit beforehand, so they could really lean into a celebrant-led ceremony that was all about them. Perfectly it was also a family friend who led the ceremony - even more personal! It was beautifully intimate and full of love—exactly what they wanted.
The elegant styling of the room, the sun shining through the windows and the gorgeous floral arch gave the ceremony this timeless, classic feel, but what stood out most was the emotion in the room. There were tears, smiles, and plenty of laughter—just the way it should be.
The Vibes
The rest of the day was a seamless blend of black-tie sophistication and a chilled out feel. They had obviously put so much thought into the aesthetic and the details of the day, but without it all feeling like it over powered the space. Think understated elegance: sleek, timeless, and 100% them. What really stood out was how much they prioritized celebrating their love and making everyone feel part of it.
There wasn't a moment where the day felt rushed or over-planned. It flowed naturally, with plenty of space for mingling, laughter, and soaking up the joy.
This was one of those weddings where we couldn’t stop smiling behind our cameras (although admittedly we are guilty of this at almost all of our weddings!)
Supplier Love
Christof and Danny’s love for each other (and their people!) was just lush to witness. Oulton Hall as always had so many beautiful spots to capture their day—from candid moments during the ceremony to the romantic portraits in the grounds. Being autumn it meant the red and golden leaves were out on display too - our favourite!
