We are a Husband and Wife duo specialising in Wedding, Lifestyle and Travel photography.
Having both grown up with a separate love of photography and art for many years, it seemed crazy to us not to work together!
After planning our own big day we fell in love with weddings and love hearing all about peoples unique plans. We love fun and relaxed weddings and couples who want to be true to themselves...it is your day after all!
Our documentary style approach is simple, natural and relaxed. We want the people we photograph to be able to have fun and enjoy their time with us. We love to seek out the little moments and find the hidden details that you may not have even seen yourself!
We aren't just all about weddings though...we also shoot relaxed and natural lifestyle sessions for families, couples and little ones!
So what do you need to know about us? Well here is a quick fire list of the things we love...
Woodland walks | A good cup of coffee | Travelling the UK and the rest of the world | Camping | Getting outdoors | All things Nordic | All things rustic | Netflix binge nights | The beach | Live music | Muddy boots
I wish I had a beautiful story about picking up a camera aged five...but truth is I sort of fell into photography almost by accident in college. My original course was cancelled and so I took an A-level in photography "just to give it a go". Well, over a decade and a degree later and here we are!
I started out working in Fashion and Beauty photography, but I quickly realised that what I craved was a more human, personal connection in my images. That's where weddings and lifestyle photography really come in! And after planning our wedding...I really did just fall in love with it all...I would do it every year if I could!
I love wedding and portrait photography because it really does freeze time. Moments become preserved forever. Cheesy? Yes. True? Absolutely!
More than anything...I love being a part of someones day and sharing that excitement, laughter and joy with them!
I've always been a creative person and for me, nothing beats shooting on 35mm film on my trusty Pentax camera. Of course I shoot digitally too...but even then I'm a firm believer in printing your images and having something to keep and treasure.
My photography started with landscapes and travel and has since developed into a passion for portraits and of course weddings! Planning our own wedding really opened my eyes to how wonderful photographing a wedding can be, capturing all the little details of a day that you work so hard to and seeing the emotions of the day for everyone involved.
Most of all, able to share with people the excitement of getting your images back after a big day or a photoshoot and seeing them relive the moments...thats what I love about what we do!
