A LITTLE BIT
ABOUT US...
We are Emily & Micah, married couple and wedding photography team. We have been obsessed with capturing peoples happiest moments since we started planning our own wedding back in 2017.
Our backgrounds in photography are what we think makes us work so well together. Micah started out studying art & film photography way back in college and went on to become a woodworker, while still practicing landscape and travel imagery.
I (Emily) studied fashion & portrait photography at University and went on to work in various commercial & portrait studios until finding a passion for weddings, which is when we decided to join forces and work for ourselves!
We are both originally from the good old North East but have spent the past 14 years living in Yorkshire. In 2020 we made a huge lifestyle change and inspired by stories of tiny homes we bought a 30ft narrowboat called Bonnie and moved onto the water before deciding to move back up North this year and exchanging our sea legs for land!
We absolutely love the outdoors and adventure. Our ideal day is a long dog walk with a coffee and an afternoon of watching documentaries in front of the fire. Our adopted Pug Anna is much more a fan of the sofa chill time than the walking! We love travelling & camping and even ditched the 5 star resorts for a tent on our honeymoon which we spent in Norway.
Our Spotify is a mess. We both love classic rock and metal, but Emily regularly has the best of broadway on her Spotify and Micah loves a country tune. It does mean that whatever you play at your wedding we will be up on the dance floor with you!
