A new home for Bailey & Mitchell...

July 7, 2019

We've talked a little about this on our social media, but there is a good reason why we've been a little bit quiet!

We have officially moved! We've traded in the busy city life in Leeds for something a little bit quieter and made the move over to Halifax! We've been all wrapped up with packing up 5 years worth of living in our little house in Leeds (how on earth we managed to accumulate so much stuff I will never know) and moving over the border to Calderdale. Between working, travelling, moving and packing then un-packing it has been a very busy few weeks! But we are finally settling in!

We've set up our loft as our new office space so we have a nice chilled, airy space to work on editing our lovely clients images! We decided to fill it full of our favourite books to inspire our photoshoots and our travels, and put up some of our favourite images. It's lovely to have a dedicated space to work from and make all of our plans!

The local area is proving to be a beautiful mix of the industrial and the countryside, which really reflects our own personal taste too! Having a little wander out with the camera found some beautiful canals and lakes, wildlife and nature. The camera came out this weekend and I took a minute to take some snaps and start to get some ideas of local locations we could be looking at shooting soon!

Now its time to start to look forward to the rest of the summer! We have a trip to New York planned, wonderful weddings coming up over the next few weeks and will be planning some styled shoots for the summer months. We also have some big plans for moving into the rest of the year with our photography with more commercial and events based projects on the way!

Stay posted to see more of what we will be getting up to over the next few months and keep an eye on our instagram page @baileyandmitchell to see all of our stories from New York City!
