TIME TO BE A BRIDE AGAIN

Well what a strange time it is! With weddings on pause, and family and couple shoots not able to happen, we’ve been twiddling our thumbs a little.

Our wonderful couples have been in great spirits, and we can’t wait to photograph all of their weddings when they roll around…but until then we couldn’t simply hang up our cameras! So between 10000000 cups of coffee, walking our pug and several box sets on Netflix, we’ve been working with some lovely local businesses and wedding suppliers to create images for their businesses.

We will be blogging these shoots soon in a series we have decided to call “stories from the kitchen table”

BUT

Until then…there was one other way we could get through the boredom. Since we have been at home together, and have a stash of wedding dresses for shoots, the only logical solution was for me to play dress up for Micah to shoot bridal portraits!

For one of our business shoots we got the chance to work with Rebecca Anne Designs and her beautiful veils...so I got to throw one of those on too!

We are already married, but putting on a wedding dress again was way too much fun! My own wedding dress was quite traditional and my hair was wayyyy longer...so this is a totally different vibe! We should all get the chance to wear them again…maybe I’ll start rocking one on a Friday night to queue outside of Tesco?!

More new images, blogs and news coming soon…in the meantime enjoy some photos of me pratting around pretending to be a bride again taken by Micah....

Stay safe,

Emily (& Micah)
