When we first chatted to Leo & Liz about their unique plans for their wedding day, we were so excited to get to work with them...the vision was simple but absolutely brilliant!
They are planning to be officially married at Leeds Town Hall in April, and are they are only having a small bit of ceremony coverage before they head off for an intimate and informal meal with their loved ones. This means two things...it doesn't leave much time for portraits and the portraits & family photos we do take will be in the city centre.

Now we do love a city centre wedding...but Leo & Liz had decided that even though the city wedding will be wonderful and makes for some cools shots they wanted to capture the romantic, elopement vibes of a wedding out in nature. So we decided to do just that! A pre wedding session where they could capture portraits at one of their favourite places, Janets Foss. And so they put on their wedding attire, met us there, and off we went for a wander through the gorgeous scenery that Malham has to offer. From woodlands to waterfalls we got to enjoy so many beautiful spots and it is worth noting that the route we took through Janets Foss is fairly rocky and a bit steep in parts and Liz did this all wearing her New Rock heels...which is pretty amazing no?

We love the way that this amazing couple have made their wedding day work for them, getting the best of both the city and nature, and creating images and memories that are completely unique to them! So here is a sneaky look at Pt I of their wedding celebrations...
