When you walk into the bridal preparation and you find out that the bride works in fashion, you know to expect a pretty special wedding...and this Wharfedale Grange wedding had all the rustic luxury we expected...
What we were not prepared for was the sheer level of organisation that Emily had…seriously…she was running AHEAD of schedule so much that the bridal party had time to do a run through of the aisle before they left for the venue! It meant that the morning was an absolute breeze! Emily got ready at her parents beautiful family home just down the road from their venue, with her twin sister as her maid of honour and all of her bridesmaids there for support.
Ed on the other hand got ready in the beautiful surroundings of their venue, Wharfedale Grange, which meant while Emily was getting into her dress and preparing the flowers…Ed and the boys had time for a cheeky pint at the bar…which is equally as picturesque as the rest of the venue, but more on that later!
After a truly heartfelt ceremony, with a live saxophone player on the balcony and the most stunning firelight backdrop, the couple were coated in confetti by their guests and ready to head out for their portraits…which is where Wharfedale Grange really shines because the grounds are stunning! Gorgeous views, rustic barns, private gardens…you name it they probably have it!
Being reintroduced into the room to their guests was such a special moment, entering in from the dramatic glass front of the barn and walking through their guests, high fiving them as they went, it was like they were headliners at the main stage of their own festival! And can we talk about that dancefloor? The first dance was set under the biggest disco ball we have ever seen which lit the floor so perfectly!
As night fell the rain started really bouncing down outside, but Ed, Emily and all of their guests were all happily partying away inside with the band pumping out all of the tunes and keeping everyone on the dance floor. It was such a special day to be a part of!
