Chloe & Joe - Stirk House Wedding

Having met Chloe and Joe for their pre-wedding shoot a few weeks before the wedding, we already knew that this was going to be such a fun day to be a part of!

Stirk house was the venue for the whole day, a gorgeous, quiet manor house hotel tucked away in the countryside. When we arrived Chloe and her girls were getting their hair and makeup done while the boys were all running around sorting last minute details, getting suited up and grabbing a pre wedding beer!

The ceremony room was decorated beautifully, everything throughout the day was kept simple and in a gorgeous natural colour palette. Hints of travel themes were scattered around the rooms, as we learned from the couple they are not only huge travel fans (Joe proposed while they were on one of their adventures) but also Chloe is a licensed pilot! Just check out that beautiful world map on the cake and the adorable place holders!

Of course…this is England…and so the weather is a fickle thing. We had beautiful sunshine…but we were also in the midst of a very windy storm! When we took the couple for a little walk to shoot their portraits, Chloe’s veil even flew off and attacked husband Joe! Not to be put off though, they laughed and danced their way through their portraits anyway! They carried on like total troopers and took on the storm to get the shots!

It was a beautiful day, full of love and laughter from all of their important family and friends. The speeches were as hilarious as they were touching, and we can honestly say that this is one very in love couple!

After much dancing, posing and air guitaring we made our departure back to Leeds and Chloe and Joe jetted off to Chile for their honeymoon like the true adventurers they are.

Big congratulations to Mr and Mrs Halliday, thanks for having us guys!
